Hello everyone today I created a Baby Dragons Card featuring the new Dragons Stamp & Dragons Dies set! I wanted to give a new twist to a “Welcome Baby Card” This gave it a little magical twist.
I created a little nest out of simple Kraft Cardstock that was thinly cut and crumpled up to lay my little Dragons hatching from their eggs on. The eggs are double layered with a touch of gold paint pen on the inside for a little nod to a magical movie. These were from a simple egg cut file made on my Silhouette Cameo. The Dragons are colored with Copics and speckled to give them a look of fresh scales. To be honest I thing the tech one looks like it has chickenpox. I giggle a little every time I see it.
The magical sentiment from the Dragons Stamp Set is layered with stitched banners from the Make A Card #17 Die Set. I wanted to give them all a sense of being in the sky. To give the card a little accent I used teal enamel dots from the new Dragons Dreams Enamel Dots set. This ethereal set comes with many solid colors and coordinating glitter enamel dots.
The inside off the card also got a little magical touch with a baby Dragon frying from his golden shell. I created the sky scene by cutting a cloudy template out of scratch Cardstock and left the center blanket for a sweet message.
