I wanted to give the Angels a retro and vintage look. I love the vintage Angels with the golden wings and golden trim on their gowns. I may have gotten a little carried away with the glitter and even on the halos.
We are well on our way to the Holiday Season and the beginning of the Gift Giving Season. To make this a little easier I wanted to make some quick and easy Gift Card Holders. The Santa & Friends Stamp set has so many adorable holiday characters that you can even make a set of these gift card holders to give as a gift.
To make its easy and able too mass produce these Holiday Card holders I used the Baggie & Tag Die Set. This die set has the baggie pocket along with a tag and the stitches rectangle I used on the opposite side to write a message.
The “to” and “from” on the back are quickly and easily hand written. The sentiments that are all included in the Santa & Friends Stamp set are stamped and then die-cut wit the Rectangles #1 die set to make it super easy to make multiples of these card holders. To make it even easier I used the Spinners Die Set to make the snowy hills on these tag holders.
I created a full process tutorial for making these cute gift card holders on my youtube channel.
Hello everyone today I created a Baby Dragons Card featuring the new Dragons Stamp & Dragons Dies set! I wanted to give a new twist to a “Welcome Baby Card” This gave it a little magical twist.
I created a little nest out of simple Kraft Cardstock that was thinly cut and crumpled up to lay my little Dragons hatching from their eggs on. The eggs are double layered with a touch of gold paint pen on the inside for a little nod to a magical movie. These were from a simple egg cut file made on my Silhouette Cameo. The Dragons are colored with Copics and speckled to give them a look of fresh scales. To be honest I thing the tech one looks like it has chickenpox. I giggle a little every time I see it.
The magical sentiment from the Dragons Stamp Set is layered with stitched banners from the Make A Card #17 Die Set. I wanted to give them all a sense of being in the sky. To give the card a little accent I used teal enamel dots from the new Dragons Dreams Enamel Dots set. This ethereal set comes with many solid colors and coordinating glitter enamel dots.
The inside off the card also got a little magical touch with a baby Dragon frying from his golden shell. I created the sky scene by cutting a cloudy template out of scratch Cardstock and left the center blanket for a sweet message.
C.C. Designs August Preview Day 2 | Welcome everyone to C.C. Designs August Preview Day 2!!! I am Happy to announce that I am now part of the C.C. Designs Designs Team!!!! Yes Im here trying to type and jump up and down!
We have several beautiful and imaginative stamps and die sets for this month’s release! This release will be available August 2nd, 2018 at 1:00pm. For August Preview Day 2 I get to share the NEW Clowns Stamp and Die sets!! For this celebration I chose to make a Shaker Card!
When I think of Clowns I also think of the Circus and especially Cotton Candy!!! So I wanted these clowns to reflect my love and slight obsession with Cotton Candy!
The Clowns Stamp Set has all of the Birthday sentiments you will need for this and many other cards in a fun and whimsical font. I used the “Happy Birthday” stamp from this collection and just curved it on my stamp block to be able to go around my round shaker topper on the card. To make the shaker I used the Circle Scalloped Metal Die. The larger circle die made the frame for the shaker window. Then I layered the Circle Scalloped Metal Die over a Stitched Circle Die that is now retired but any circle that frames the Scalloped Circle would work perfectly.
The sentiment is stamped on the ever so cute stitched banner die cuts from the Make A Card #17 die set. This set has so many dies to chose from for any cards. These banners added the finishing touches to the card just tucked in the pretty scallops. Lets face it everything is cuter with stitches.
