Clean and Simple Christmas Cards

Clean and Simple Christmas Cards: Hello and welcome to an easy card process that can be mass-produced for the hustle and bustle of the Holiday Season.

I wanted to create several cards for Christmas that can be easy to make and with minimal supplies. I used heavyweight cream card-stock for the base.   These are A2 size cards with only two layers for less stress. The first layer on all of the cards are cut to 2/8″ smaller that the A2 card base of 4.25″X5.5″.  This creates a slim border on the base of the cards to give them visual third border. The plaid base card-stock can be any plaid you have in your stash. In this instance, I used a seasonal plaid paper pad from Hobby Lobby.

To make this process as easy as possible I only used the two larger stitched rectangle dies from the Lil’ Inker Stitched Frames” dies. The deer die is from the Maggie Holmes “Open Book” Die collection.  I was very excited to use the new “Merry Christmas” die from Pretty Pink Posh with some gold foil card-stock for the sentiment.  The Snowflake dies are a trio from Diemond Dies.

The top layer of these cards were adhered with 3M mounting foam to give it more dimension. I then carefully adhered the “Merry Christmas” sentiment with Scotch Tacky glue. I use a Scrapperfect precision tip on my glue bottle to be able to use it on those very small die cuts.

Thank you for stopping in and I hope this project was helpful to get you through the crafty and busy Holiday Season.
